WSIA Legal Affairs Committee
This committee has two primary functions. First, it helps review legislative issues, draft bill and amendment language to meet legislative goals, and provide guidance for our legislative and administrative activities.
Second, the Legal Affairs Committee reviews guiding factors for use in consideration of filing Amicus Briefs by the association, to assist in the board of directors' ability to ascertain whether to accept the recommendations of the committee and file a brief.
The Legal Affairs Committee is presently chaired by Chris Bishop of Wallace, Klor, Mann, Capener & Bishop.
