WSIA Legislative Committee
The Legislative Committee's overall purpose is to consider and address all legislative issues that might impact self-insured workers' compensation and workplace safety and make recommendations to the WSIA Board of Directors. This is accomplished in a proactive manner by encouraging as broad a representation and participation on the committee as possible. Our goal is to continue the positive work being done to develop our legislative agenda, keep the membership informed, and solicit feedback from our members. Your commitment would be approximately six (6) meetings between July and June, as well as to support the Vice President for Legislation during the legislative session.
The Legislative Committee is chaired by Therese Baxter of the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks, WSIA's Vice President for Legislation.
