WSIA is Washington's leader in workplace safety and workers' compensation.
Who We Are
WSIA is the only statewide trade association representing the interests of public and private sector employers in the fields of workplace safety, accident prevention, and workers' compensation, and the professionals who support them.
What We Do
WSIA offers an array of key member benefits from governmental affairs advocacy to continuing education and professional development to community support and networking.
Who We Serve
WSIA members are small and large cities and counties, public and private schools, public and private hospitals, and some of our state's most visible and iconic brands and companies, who do business here and around the world.
WSIA's vision is set by officers, an executive committee, and a board of directors, comprised of volunteers from our employer, associate, and service company members.
WSIA's mission is carried out by volunteers who contribute their time and talent to our several issue-area committees, from law and legislation to safety and conferences to membership & marketing and regional meetings.
We love to recognize extraordinary service to others. We have two association awards that are considered each year for honoring distinguished service to the association and the self-insured community.
WSIA's operations are carried out by a professional staff of three with experience in law, government affairs, risk management, education, human resources, and office management.
