Kris Tefft, Executive Director

Kris Tefft

Executive Director & General Counsel

Kris Tefft joined WSIA in 2014 as Executive Director and General Counsel, where he is a leading voice for the state's employer community before the Legislature, the Department of Labor & Industries, and the courts on workers' compensation and workplace safety issues. Kris is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Managers of the National Council of Self-Insurers, as well as a member of the Department of Labor & Industries' Workers' Compensation Finance Advisory Committee and past member of its Workers' Compensation and Employment Law Advisory Committees. Kris is a graduate of Seattle University and the Notre Dame Law School.

Cameron Van Dyck

Training, Professional Development & Member Services

Cameron Van Dyck directs WSIA's efforts in training, professional development, and member services. A long time workers' compensation professional in Washington and around the country, Cameron comes from an account management and service background, having spent time serving self-insured employers and other insurers at MSQ, Optum, Equian, and others. Cameron works with the Industrial Insurance University Board of Regents to operate WSIA's core workers' compensation training curriculum, directs the organizing of our conferences, and manages the development of our member services offerings.

Kari Heinold

Administration & Events

Kari Heinold is WSIA’s Office Manager and Events Coordinator, assisting with the management of day to day office operations and coordinating all aspects of WSIA’s conferences and events. Before coming to work at WSIA, Kari worked in Human Resources at Wild Waves Theme Park for 12 years.
