WSIA Announces 54th Annual Conference: “Casino Royale – Don’t Leave it to Chance”
Wenatchee, WA – May 1, 2025 – The Washington Self-Insurers Association (WSIA) is pleased to announce its 54th Annual Conference, the premier regional event focused on workers' compensation and workplace safety. The conference will take place May 7-9, 2025, at the Wenatchee Convention Center in Wenatchee, Washington.
Drawing hundreds of self-insurers, claims professionals, attorneys, medical and vocational providers, and risk management experts from across the country, WSIA’s Annual Conference is the largest event of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. This year’s theme, “Casino Royale: Don’t Leave it to Chance,” underscores the high stakes and evolving challenges facing today’s workers’ compensation industry.
The conference features keynote remarks by Joel Sacks, Director of the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, along with a robust agenda of educational sessions covering medical management, legal and regulatory compliance, safety and prevention, and best practices in self-insurance program management. Industry-leading speakers and panelists will share strategies and insights to help participants navigate the increasingly complex legal, regulatory, and political environment.
In addition to its rich educational programming, the conference offers exceptional networking opportunities and a dynamic trade show exhibition, where attendees can explore the latest innovations and services in claims administration, healthcare, legal support, safety, and more. This year’s festivities will culminate in an evening reception and dinner, complete with entertainment and a Casino Royale-themed celebration.
“We are excited to bring the community together again for this essential event,” said Kris Tefft, WSIA Executive Director. “Whether you're new to the field or a seasoned professional, there’s something valuable for everyone looking to stay ahead of the curve in workers' compensation and workplace safety.”
WSIA also wants to thank its many sponsors whose contributions to the program will make it one of the biggest and best yet!
