Self-Insured Employers

Self-insured employers operate their own workers' compensation programs in Washington, paying the benefits and administration of injury and disease claims out of their own funds. Self-insured employers make a membership investment in WSIA according to the number of full-time or full-time equivalent employees in Washington, as follows:

Up to 500 employees

501 to 1,000 employees

1001 to 5,000 employees

5001 to 10,000 employees

Over 10,000 employees

WSIA's membership year runs July 1 to June 30. Members joining mid-year will have their dues prorated in their renewal year. For more information on dues proration, contact Kari Heinold at the WSIA office.
