Understanding and managing the medical side of workers’ compensation claims is essential to control costs, improve worker outcomes, and resolve claims.
Our 2016 Spring Conference focuses on health care solutions in claims management. We are pulling together presenters from various medical fields to explore issues and answer questions about advanced imaging use and abuse, solving opioid addiction, extreme diagnoses, and psychological/psychiatric conditions. Finally, we’ll taking a fresh look at the benefits of utilization review in medical management, ensuring appropriate health care services and promoting consistency with the Department’s treatment guidelines and coverage decisions.

WSIA will award 5.5 credits, CEC clock hours towards the Washington Workers' Compensation Professional (WWCP) requirements. CRCC and CDMS have been applied for. WA Certified Administrator credits have been applied for.

Cancellation Information
A cancellation fee of $75 will be charged for cancellations received by March 10, 2016. This is to offset the cost of room rental, reserved meals, and conference material production.
No credit will be given for cancellations made after March 10, 2016.
