Presenters

Krishna PictureKrishna Balasubramani joined Sather, Byerly & Holloway, LLP in 1996 and became a partner in 2000. Prior to joining the firm, Krishna was a pro tem Administrative Law Judge for the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Board. He also worked at SAFECO Insurance and Stoel Rives, LLP. Krishna is admitted to practice in Oregon and Washington. He assists employers and insurers in Oregon and Washington with workers’ compensation and employment related matters. Krishna defends employers in connection with workers’ compensation, OSHA and general employment matters. He works closely with human resource managers, loss prevention managers, safety directors and claims adjusters to manage pre-litigation situations or to handle the litigation.

Ann220pxAnn Silvernale joined the Seattle office of Holmes, Weddle & Barcott in 2012, and limits her practice the defense of self-insured and state fund employers under the Washington State Industrial Insurance Act, as well as defense of firms cited under the Washington State Industrial Safety and Health Act. Her practice includes advice to firms at the Department level and litigation before the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals, Superior Court, Court of Appeals, and Supreme Court. She also serves as a mediator for matters on appeal from the Board to Superior Court. Ms. Silvernale has served as an Assistant Attorney General for Labor & Industries and other agencies, an Industrial Insurance Appeals Judge, a trial judge, and a mediation and review judge at the Board.

Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance to use in submitting continuing education credits. 


Cancellation Information

A cancellation fee of $75 will be charged for cancellations received by October 13, 2016. This is to offset the cost of the room rental, reserved meals, and conference material production.

No credit and/or refund will be given for cancellations made after October 13, 2016.
