Claim Manager – Workers Compensation Adjudicator 3 vacancies

The Department of Labor and Industries has multiple Claim Manger - Workers Compensation Adjudicator 3 vacancies.  As a Claim Manager you are responsible for independently managing a caseload of medical only and time loss workers’ compensation claims. You will make legally binding decisions regarding injured workers’ entitlements including permanent partial disability awards.  We seek individuals with a thorough working knowledge of the State of Washington’s Industrial Insurance Law and with at least three years of experience as a time loss claim adjuster under Title 51.

Workers’ Compensation Risk Control/Claims Analyst

The WC Risk Control/Claims Analyst is responsible for analyzing Workers’ Compensation loss exposures, design and implementation of cost reduction strategies and measuring those strategies for results. Providing oversight of Univar’s Third Party Administrators (TPA) to ensure proper and efficient handling of claims. Formulating, developing, and coordinating all claims-related activities through understanding of Workers’ Compensation insurance policies and Statutes. Design and develop procedures for reporting, investigation, analysis, and litigation management. Regional Account Executive/Washington

MES Solutions, a national provider of Independent Medical Exams, is seeking a highly motivated, connected, disciplined senior level sales person to cover all markets in WA including workers’ compensation, liability, auto and Longshore.

 The job responsibilities are as follows:

  • Manage and grow large existing account base in WA.
  • Identify and develop new account acquisition opportunities including performing a needs assessment, creating a concrete POA (Plan of Action) to secure new business, and conducting follow-though to securing business.
  • Have knowledge of and comfort with WA market, including existing relationships with claims adjusters and claims managers with particular emphasis in WA claims.
  • Act as liaison between clients and other MES employees, including National Account Executives in charge of national account contracts and relationships.
  • Assist in resolving client concerns relative to service and report quality issues.
  • Represent MES at industry functions, conferences, seminars and meetings.
