Why Attend the WSIA Winter West Conference?
“The Road to Recovery - The One Less Traveled”
Every day we hear or listen to news regarding not just the State of Washington’s but also our national and global economic recovery. So far much of the news continues to be grim. This conference will focus on what recovery means both from an economic and a workers’ compensation standpoint. We are delighted to have Dr. Arun Raha, Executive Director and Chief Economist for the State of Washington speaking at our conference. The future of our economy will have a big impact on us as employers and service providers especially since controlling costs is an important part of what we will do during these tough times.
Who Should Attend?
Employers, Human Resources Managers, Safety Managers, Risk Managers, Workers’ Comp Managers, Claims Managers, Claims Adjusters, Third Party Administrators, attorneys, and everyone with connections to a Workers’ Compensation Program that have had to deal with a variety of psychological and psychiatric issues in their claims. Register today!
Continuing Education Credit Hours
Continuing Education Credits have been applied for with the Department of Labor & Industries. For full attendance, WSIA will award 6.0 Continuing Education Credits (including 1.5 Statutory) toward maintaining the WWCP designation. We do not know how many CEC's the Department of Labor & Industries may award. CRC & CDMS have also been applied for. A certificate of completion will be sent out electronically with the link to the conference evaluation.
