Why Attend WSIA’s Spring Conference?

The Washington Self-Insurers Association’s Membership & Marketing Committee called a number of self-insured employer members to ask their opinion about a number of topics.  Regarding potential topics/themes for a conference, one was repeated and really stood out:  “What should we expect or not expect from our Claims Management Team?”

You asked, we’re delivering!

Come to the Red Lion Hotel at the Quay in Vancouver and you’ll hear presentations from the perspective of the Department, from the perspective of the vocational rehabilitation counselor and nurse case manager, and from the perspective of the claims manager and legal representative.  All of these perspectives provide you with a 360 degree view of what you should expect (or not expect) from your claims management team.  Get the perspective you’ve asked for, from those who have been implementing those practices each and every day.

In addition to the focus of the Spring Conference, hear a comprehensive presentation by WSIA Lobbying Coordinator Kathleen Collins about the (hopefully) completed 2010 legislative session, and what the future holds on workers’ compensation issues.

Also, learn about the end result of the Self-Insured Electronic Data Reporting System (SIEDRS) from the driving force behind the data collection, WSIA President-Elect Katrina Zitnik, and find out what the first year’s worth of data says from the existing reports, what the next steps are in the use of the data, and our need for desire for additional reporting.

Register now for this exciting and informative conference event!
