Self-Insurance Claims Teams Announced

The Department of Labor & Industries' Self-Insurance Section has announced their new claims teams.  The team format (a team of four adjudicators), were established to help with issues of consistency and coordination in the handling of claims from the same employer, and within industries.  It is hoped this will assist with a more consistent issuance of wage orders, and all other orders, sought by self-insured employers.   This change to teams takes effect August 27, 2007.  Update effective July 1, 2008.
