It was great to see so many of you at the Fall Conference!  We have much more in store for the remainder of the program year so watch your emails and our website.  Here I a glimmer...

WWCP On-Lines Self-Study - Fall & Winter Quarter Updates  

Fall Quarter registration will close on November 1st and the final exam is scheduled for November 30th.  Registration for Winter Quarter will be open in early December.  Here’s the link to the training program webpage.  Just scroll down until you see the web-based training and click on the course you want to register for:  WWCP Self-Study

Introduction to Claims Management

Our Introduction to Claims Management course is just around the corner, on November 7-8, 2011 at Vigilant in Everett. This introductory class is a must for anyone with less than 3 years in the workers’ compensation field. It is also a great course for self-insured employers who want to understand what their TPA is doing and why.  Click here to register now!

Certification Review Course

The next Certified Claims Administrator test is on Tuesday, December 6th.  That means our Certification Review Class will be held on Sunday and Monday, December 4th and 5th.  We apologize for holding a training class on a Sunday but we are bound by the date of the Department scheduled Claims Administrator test.  Class will be held at Approach Management Services in Lacey.  Registration will be open by early November.  Don’t take the test without taking the class!

Webinars

During the 2011-12 program year, we plan to provide you with four more Advanced Webinars and four new calculations webinars.  These will be under construction shortly and will be available later in the program year.  I recently sent out a survey to the membership regarding topics of interest for our upcoming Advanced Webinars.  If you didn’t receive the survey or didn’t complete it, and have an idea for an advanced webinar, please email me at bonnie.prater@wsiassn.org. Watch for more information on these over the next couple months.  Some of our archived advanced webinars are still available for purchase on our website.
