Each year the President of the Washington Self-Insurers Association gives consideration of awarding the President’s Evergreen Award. The award, initiated in 1994, is given to acknowledge an individual’s accomplishments, knowledge and efforts on behalf of the self-insured community and workers’ compensation system. It is essentially a “lifetime achievement” award for our community. The award is not given out every year.
